English and Business Development

Todays professional life is full of challenges! The right network, and knowing how to ask and answer the right questions at the right time, can be the key to success. Solid comminication skills and the opportunity to bring business ideas to life, is what this programme is all about.

Yet, it is one thing to know and another thing to do! Thus students will not only learn but get equipped with all necessary tools to start up their own business.

Once completed the course, students will be confident to speak English in a business environment. They will learn how to convert theoretical knowledge about business into real life, by using their own business plan

The programme

Students study Business English in the morning. In the first week students will prepare and hold individual presentations on their future goals, business ideas and personal plans. Once done, students will group up as teams and work on business related tasks such as planning, marketing, finances, budgeting, etc. They will virtually start up their own business. The business plan and strategy as well as the network around it is part of the course outcome and leads to establishing a real company. Teachers will mentor students individually and as a group. They will mediate and take active part in the foundation process, even after the course is finished. Team building events outside the classroom are part of the programme.
