Lower Hutt Campus
Lower Hutt is the hidden jewel in the ETC family. It is a smaller, community focussed, school with up to 80 students on site. Our teachers are all professional, well qualified and determined to help their students succeed. Small classes mean that all students get the teacher’s attention when they need it. The campus facilities include eight classrooms with the latest multimedia facilities, a computer lab and a student kitchen with free tea and coffee for students. Free Wi-Fi is available for students at any time during school hours.
ETC Lower Hutt is centrally located in the central shopping area next to the Queensgate Shopping Mall. A regular train service allows for easy access to the Wellington CBD within 30 minutes.
ETC Lower Hutt offers classes to international students, migrants and former refugees to develop their English level. We have very reasonable rates and great classes. We offer New Zealand qualifications alongside communication and specialised academic classes. If you have PR or are a New Zealand Citizen, we have some free classes available

Lower Hutt is the second largest city in the Wellington region and only a 30 minute train ride to Wellington city. It is also the home of WelTec, Wellington Institute of Technology. The suburb of Petone hosts a boutique store village and has access to a wonderful beach. Students who love hiking and tramping will enjoy the easy access to the Rimutaka Hill Range.
